Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK's Visit to Edirne

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk visited Edirne for the third and last time between 21 and 25 December 1930.

During this visit, he visited schools and mosques and came to this meeting to solve a land problem in Kemalköy.

He went to the village.

Mustafa Kemal, who visited the schools in Edirne on Wednesday, December 24, also visited the Art School with his entourage and was greeted with a flag and pennant there. While Atatürk was visiting the iron-casting workshop, he asked Nuri, a student working at the lathe, "Why are you dealing with fire and coal here when you can go to a high school or teacher training school and dress immaculately?" says.

Thereupon, Nuri showed the hammer in his hand and said, “Pasha; You saved this country with the sword, we will raise it with the hammer. “This country also needs craftsmen.” Mustafa Kemal is very pleased with this and gives a fountain pen to student Nuri.
